Message	what a machine shop told me who rebuilds domestic and imports. Domestic are balanced to 5-10 grams. Japanese are balanced to less than that to within couple of grams. German engines are balanced to zero grams like the BMW's and MB. How many machine shops have you dealt with personally? Not every factory engine is built on tight tolerances. It varies with make of engine and application.
